dvd not playing

I was making backup copies of my daughters dvds , I did exactly the same thing on each one but some will play in a dvd player and some will not all will play on computer. I use dvd decrypter then dvd shrink and have nero6 burning software.Is there any reason for this or just something that happens ?

 

One of my friends had just about the same problem, it turned out that her set-top(home unit) player was going bad. Borrow a DVD player from someone or take the discs over to their house and try playing them.

Some DVD players are not compatible with DVD+R discs also, so buy only DVD-R discs to record on.

 

Sometimes more important than + or - format, is buying Quality media.
Sometimes even the Drive will effect overall quality & play ability
Some burners are bettter at burning than others
Not all burners/players support both formats
Does the PC have dvd palyer software installed
Try burning at slower speed's
