Hi, I am having problems viewing DVDs on the computer. I am using Nero and Power DVD software. The Picture when watching the DVD is all blue and green, (Hard to explain). This is a new problem and I am not sure when it started as the computer is mainly used for gaming and work. DVDs for games work fine. The only new program that has been installed is BF2. I have searched the forum and can find nothing similar. All settings are the same as when it originally worked ( I have set all setting to Default to see if this improved things, no luck), no virus, spyware etc and all driver’s are the latest. Here are my specs:

your system is fine, what actually causes the problem is the Nvidia Card, go into the nvidia settings and under Colour Correction do the following
The "Apply colour changes to" drop bar should read "Overlay"
    then "All Chanels"
at the bottom switch "Colour Profile" to "Advanced Mode" again its a drop bar

the graph thing should then have a Diagonal line from bottom left to top right
in standard mode it becomes a curve, causing the problem

ITs affecting the Video Overlay and effectively shifts all the colour range out of normal and looks stupid, i had this problem on my friends pc, only ALL video (mpg, avi etc..) was doing it and had to turn Video Overlay OFF in his media programs, untill i found it was actually the Nvidia settings lol

If on the other hand this hasnt solved your problem im lost lol, unless you try turning Overlay off in the media programs too (it will come under the settings- video options) somewhere in the programs :)
