DVD-R recording on win xp

    i hope this is the right place to post this, but i am trying to make a dvd-r
    from my hitachi dvd ram recorder, on win xp, it comes with software/sonic/mydvd to make dvd ram copies,(the little ones) i can't tell or find where i could use dvd r. on dvd movie album se, i want to use the bigger dvd r's for copies,
