DVD Recorder Question

This isn't exactly a computer question I know...

So I have a DVD recorder, a Magnavox one. It connects to the TV, not directly to the VCR. It's meant for recording from VHS, but do you think its possible to record other things such as my Nintendo Entertainment System?

You'd have to input the NES into the DVD recorder and out that to the tv. In theory it's possible - you'd have to connect the NES via an aerial cable and tune it into the DVD recorder and then record from that.
