DVD Recording Problems???

I recorded my wedding video onto DVD last night at my friends place.

He has a Toshiba D-R2 DVD Video Recorder (DVD-RAM/DVD-R/DVD-RW). I recorded it on a Sony DVD-R disc. Everything went without a hitch and played back fine on his DVD Recorder.

I went to show my my wife this morning on our DVD player and my player just kept on indicating "Loading". It wouldn't play.

I then tried it on our new DVD/CD Burner on our computer and still nothing.

Can anyone out there offer any helpful suggestions?
Does anyone have this particular recorder? Did I do something wrong in the recording process?
