I will do my best to explain what I have been going through with my Brand Spankin' new computer.

The Main problem that I am having is changing my DVD player's region setting, It should be set to 1 but for some reason it is set on 2.

It would seem to me that this is an easy fix, so I go into my dvd drive settings and try to change the region to 1.

I click okay, and the computer gives me an error message that says, Please make sure that you have administrative privileges. (Which I do).

I am the only user of this computer (established Christmas day). I am the administrator! So of coarse I think I am infected with Malware so right off the bat I run all of my anti-spy anti-mal and anti-vir programs. They come back with a clean slate (I am running in Normal start up).

The Programs I ran were, Super Anti Spyware, MG, Combo-Fix, Avast, Malewarebytes, and spybot search and destroy. (all up to date).

So my question to everyone out there. Is, WHAT THE HELL!?

I thank anyone ahead of time deeply! For this is a BRAND new Lighscribe DVD player! And I really wish it to work.
