DVD Rippers Which ONE ?

Hi all,

I wish to copy, burn , or transfer a dvd from the original dvd to a copy dvd.

Taking a dvd removing the protection copying it from the dvd drive to the dvd in the dvd-burner. then taking the copy and to be able to watch it on any dvd player.

I have done a serach and it seems that they all can copy to cd DIvx etc.

I just wish to burn dvd so I can have them as a back up and to be able to watch them on any dvd player.

DVD Shrink ( http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4020.html ) will allow you to back-up a DVD movie to a standard recordable DVD by compresing or allowing you to remove extras and menus. It integrates with Nero (trial: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download2228.html ), which I recommend, or you can save DVD Shrink's output as an ISO file and burn it to a DVD with one of these freeware apps: Deepburner ( http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4310.html ) or CDBurner XP Pro ( http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4242.html ).
