    Hello,
I have recently encountered a problem with my DVD/ROM not reading discs. This was not the case in the past... the drive worked fine. I talked to a tech at the place where I bought the computer and he asked if the drive would boot from the windows disc. It did... therefore, the drive does read and the problem must be with windows itself. He had me back-up my files and re-install windows in attempt to reset everything to the original settings. After doing this, the drive will still not read any disc that is not Windows. Any suggestions?

The drive is: TSSTCORP CDDVDW SH-S202J ATA Device

    Thank you, in advance.

    Greg
