DVD-RW drive not workin

    hey
    my pc is about 7 years old so i dont know if its just wear and tear...

    it is a pioneer drive and has suddenly started to 'burn' any blank cd's/dvds i put into the drive, even without any software runnin...

    any ideas? thought id ask first incase i could fix before spendin for a new 1!
