Hi can i get some advice on which is the better burner thank you

 

I don't think you'll go wrong with either. I've always been partial to NEC and Plextor, but currnently have Lite-ons in machines I'm running, and they do fine. That NEC is supposedly flashable to make it a 4550A with the right software-- NEC advises against it of course, and you do risk messing up the drive. I have one myself, but haven't installed it yet.

Just bought that NEC dvd writer funnily enough, from aria.co.uk though.

It seems to have functioned fine for me so far
