When I open 'My Computer' Windows reports my drive as a CD drive. This has only recently happened. The drive reads and records fine, it's just that it isn't being shown correctly. Any ideas?

Windows often reports any kind of optical drive as a CD Drive. As long as the correct drive name is detected in the properties or device manager, and it is recognized correctly by your burning program, theres nothing to worry about :)

Yes I realise that, but this has only happened recently so i wondered if there was a specific reason for it. I don't like not knowing why!
