Ok. So here's the deal. My DVD/RW drive was acting funky for quite a bit. Every time I inserted a blank DVD the system suddenly rebooted. It flustered me so much. So I figured it must be a hardware issue. So I opened up my case and checked the cables - unplugged and plugged. Rebooted the PC, yet it still did it. So I went to Windows Update and downloaded all the necessary, and optional, updates. Even under the hardware portion of it. However, none of those updates fixed the issue at hand. So I checked the Device Manager and it isn't even detected. Only my CD/RW is. What gives? It plays DVDs fine. So what do you suggest could fix this? I'm stumped, not to mention frustrated with the whole thing.

Another weird thing is that Nero's InfoTool detects the drive fine.

BTW: The drive is a TDK DVDRW0404N.

Nevermind, geeks. I ordered a new DVD/RW drive anyway.
