DVD Shrink and Windows 98 SE

Hi Everyone...this is my first post on this board and I am hoping somebody can help me out.

I recently purchased a DVD-burner for my old (P3, 600Mhz) computer - yes, I know I need to upgrade. I installed the drive and Nero with no problems. Then I tried to install DVD Shrink (downloaded from this website). The program seemed to install without any difficulty, but it would not launch. I received an error stating the that the program had to be shut down. When the computer restarted, it would not boot into windows. It would get past the Windows banner screen, but then hang prior to getting to the desktop.

I believe one of the .dll files was corrupted. Has anyone heard of this happening with Win98 and DVD Shrink? Any ideas on how to fix this? I was thinking of trying an older version of DVD Shrink.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Please be explicit, I'm not extremely computer literate.

UPDATE:

I got the system back up and running, but I have one more problem. I can get DVD Shrink to run; however, the tray on the DVD player now ejects and remains open. The button does not make the tray go back in and if you push the tray, it will withdraw, but only to be ejected again in a moment.

Any ideas?

 

If your locking to copy dvds then u can also do it with these programs DVD Decrypter the convert it with dvd2one123 then burn it on the DVD with Nero. Its easy once u download the programs.
