If you have DVDs that have have purchsed, and you want to back them up for archival purposes, you can use DVDFab. If you have video clips (AVI, MP4, MKV, WMV, DIVX, XVID, etc) and want to watch them on a home DVD player, you can use DVDFlick. I have used both extensively with great result. There are no watermarks, and both are 100% free for life. Here's the links:
    DVDFab http://www.majorgeeks.com/DVDFab_HD_Decrypter_d5168.html
    DVD Flick http://www.majorgeeks.com/DVD_Flick_d5530.html
DVD Flick How-to Guide (PDF) http://www.dvdflick.net/guide.php
If you want to watch the movies on your PC that you ripped with DVDFab, you'll probably want to convert them into a more PC friendly format like DivX/XVid. This will also take up MUCH less space. You can use either AutoGK or Catalencoder to convert your ripped DVDs into Divx/XVid files:
    Auto Gordian Knot (AutoGK) http://www.majorgeeks.com/AutoGK_Auto_Gordian_Knot_d5795.html
    Catalencoder http://www.majorgeeks.com/Catalencoder_d5397.html
Again, these are totally free. I have used AutoGK a bit and it works great. Keep in mind that video/DVD conversion and ripping and archiving is a resource hungry activity and the PC should be left alone while these things are taking place. I've notcied that if I use my PC while converting/burning a file (using DVD Flick) that the final product can be jumpy and skip in places, but if I just leave the PC alone and let it work, they come out perfect; this in on a fairly powerful PC. Turn off any screen savers too. If you have older hardware, this will be more pronounced, and the process will take longer. It can take up to 75 minutes to convert a 700mb AVI file to DVD format and burn it on my PC. If you have older/slower hardware, and under 1gb of RAM, this can up to and over 2 hours, so be patient. Also, DVD Flick requires approx 10gb of free drive space for EACH conversion, so be sure you have space and delete the files when the conversion/burn is finished.

Good luck! I hope this helps!
