Hi, im looking to conserve a bit of space for a trip, and am looking to copy a few dvd's onto my harddrive. I have a Packard Bell laptop with a DVD-WR drive, but i have no idea how to copy dvd onto my harddrive for playback independant of the disc, or wether its possible or not?

If you want to compress them into avi's after you have put them onto your hard drive use Divx Dvd Ripper
