dvd to tivo?

I hate DVDs, they take forever to load and then I still have to wait as I get the WARNINGS(sometimes in 2 languages) about copying them,(even at no profit)
I have a spare tivo, I don't use for my subscription(cause I have a lifetime subsription) so I can **** with it and expand the memory or whatever.
how can I download DVDs onto it so I can pick the movie from a list(now playing list) and not have to suffer through storing or waiting for my dvds to work?

the site I linked won't tell me how to get the DVD onto my computer, can someone help me out on how to do that?
