Dvd Won't Play On My Home Dvd Player. Help!!!!

Hi. I am a guitar player and I came across a website that has free downloadable hit music with the voices and guitars extracted from the songs so that playing along with your guitar is easier. I am able to download and play the music using my computer dvd player but when I try to play the music on my home dvd player, which is hooked up to my home system, then for some reason the music doesn't play. Any ideas why this might be and any ideas on how i can fix it? Thanks for your help.

A home DVD player won't play audio files burned to a DVD. You need to make an audio CD.
