    1. which is better at keep the movie quality high. I am also talking about when they need to be converted to dvd-5.

    2. Which runs more quickly with Anydvd and keeps the quality up too? I got an older pc by the way, if it matters.

    3. I keep hearing about clonedvd but see three versions of it, and am not sure if it's the same. One from the anydvd site called clonedvd. Another from clone-dvd.net where dvd ghost is at with the same name, clonedvd. Last I see one called elby CloneDVD. What is what?

Elby CloneDVD 2 is the one available at the Slysoft site. It has a good rep and apparently plays well with AnyDVD. I'm unfamiliar with the CloneDVD from CloneDVD.net or DVDXCopy. I've had no problem using Nero, DVD Shrink or Shrink to 5 with it myself (all available here, last 2 free) and they produce good quality copies. You will get the best results if you keep only the movie and dispense with the menus and extras. There is no noticeable difference in processing times that I saw.
