I have a video card with DVI output. Will I be able to use this with a monitor i am considering buying that has DVI-D input ? From the research ive done, it seems that DVI-D is just another name for ordinary DVI . Am I right about this ?

Good deal. I came to the same conclusion after more research and went ahead and ordered this monitor : http://directron.com/x224w.html
I thought it was a pretty dang good price for a 22in LCD . The closest competetion was an HP 21.5" that cost $259 at Fry's . I often use Directron because they are local to me, and I've always had good experiences with them and the products i have purchased from them. I dont know anything about Hyundai monitors (Hell , they make cars and heavy equipment - pretty diverse) and wasnt able to locate any poor reviews on the item so i went ahead and ordered it . Ill update this thread when the monitor arrives and let y'all know my opinion of it. (As if anyone cares about my opinion) LoL.

    Thanks Asus !
