Dvi Not Working

Hello,
Hoping someone might be able to assist.
Have a desktop w/ dual monitors. Both were working on Friday, now only the VGA is working. Checked cables, ports, and monitors so I think that the DVI integrated port has stopped working.
Wondering if once it is dead its dead or if there is a download to fix.
If I should go with a dual monitor video card or a new motherboard?

MB: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 6.0
CPU: AMD FX-6300 Six-Core / 3.5ghz
OS: Win 10 Pro / 64
Chipset: North Bridge/AMD 760G
Memory: 8GB
Hard Drive: 500GB HDD
Video: ATI Radeon 3000 Graphics

I noticed your post has been on here a week without getting a response. Please accept my apology for that. Do you still need help with the DVI and dual monitor issue?

 

Yeh I noticed that last night StruldBrug, was going to give it a go but I'm not sure.
Its very unusual for a DVI oulet to simply let go on the mobo.
Can you go back to a single monitor and try swapping the vga connect for the dvi on the working monitor and see what progresses?
Just to rule out physical failure on dvi port!

Thank you both for your offer/input. I did try to my best knowledge to make sure that the DVI port had failed. Contacted (and finally got a response from) the MoBo mfg. They confirmed that DVI port failure is possible and offered to review the problem, if I sent them the board. So, not wanting to rip out the MoBo and be without for x months, I opted to get a dual-DVI video card. Popped that baby in and zoom... both monitors are working fine and it also resolved the issue of poor graphic resolution on the VGA one.
In short, boss is happy (as it was his system)... so all is well once again.
