DVI/VGA Adapters

Ok, a couple months ago I posted about setting up a dual monitor and I just got my new work pc with the dual head video card (one DVI and one VGA) both of my monitors are the standard plug and this second slot on the video card has 24 square pin holes (3*8) and a slit. The only DVI to VGA adapter I can find has 13 or 15 pins and that longer slit.

Am I looking for the wrong kind of adapter, going crazy or looking at the wrong place (staples, compusa, radio shack etc)

Thanks and if I got my vgas and dvi's backwards I hope I didn't comfuse.

I called two local Radio Shack stores, and neither of them had it. I also called a local computer shop; their price was $19. Too high!

 

The last two video cards I bought came with them (EVGA).

Go a free computer that had an AGP card which had a similar conncector but with 10 pins in each row vice 8. Think I identified it as a EVC (Enhanced Video Connector). Any adapter I could find was around 30 bucks, so I bought a Geforce 6200 for $25 bucks.
