Dvpsetup.exe

when i go control panel > sounds and audio devices > voice > voice recording test hardware. i get a windows error.....windows cannot execute DvpSetup.exe, use Add/Remove Programs control panel to install. has anyone any idea, ive searched on geeks for DvpSetup but to no avail, and looked on the web without success...

ive looked there, but its confusing, i cant find it in my control panel

 

ok im assuming youve installed DX9 so go here and download the direct x control panel its only 58kb
EDIT get it here at Majorgeeks

open the file and follow the instructions in the txt file to install it, this will add a DX applet to your control panel

 

i downloaded the majorgeeks one and in the txt file it says
"ROFL.

Einfach auf die "directx.cpl" draufclicken ..."

TEEHEEHEE sorry m8 the one i linked earlier was in English and said this

Put the directx.cpl file in your system32 folder, then open up the control panel in Windows to see/use it.
