dvr deleted program recovery

Is there any possible way to recover deleted dvr programs from a newer cisco model dvr(including taking it apart or bringing it to a data recovery companey)?

The reciever is a cisco explorer 8642 and a few very important programs were accidently deleted, i was just wondering if there was any possible way to recover these programs including bringing it to a data recovery company?

 

Well, I think it is possible that a data recovery service facility might be able to recover the data from the flash memory of the device but most likely the cost would not be probably typical.

 

If it hasn't been overwritten and you can connect the drive to your computer you could download a free or paid file recovery program and try it.I have used these types of programs with pretty good results.
