I use FireFox 4.0 but could just as well use any browser if needed for what I want.
My library now has e books available for e readers. What I'm wondering is there anyway I can download library books and read them on my browser on my laptop. Maybe an extension or something would work.
I'm not anxious to spend money on an e reader.:-D
    Anyone tried it?
    Any help will be appreciated.:drool

There are many free e-book applications for the PC. Your library probably uses Adobe DRM to protect it's books. You would use the free Adobe Digital Editions to read them on your laptop. http://www.adobe.com/products/digitaleditions/
