E-mail/internet Issues

I have a problem reading e-mail over the internet on my computer. To access my main e-mail address I have to go to it through webmail(http://webmail.adelphia.net/webedge). If I go to the main page and try to log in all I see on my screen is a blank page with the words Error on Page briefly showing up on the bottom tool bar.

I chalked this up to my ISP being awful, which I am still on the fence about, but when I went to check my wife's e-mail for her(www.aol.com) the same problem occured.

I registered a quick hotmail account to see if that would work and the same problem occured.

I had some serious Spyware/Malware issues a while back during which time the good people of this website helped me to rid my computer of all known occurences of Spyware/Malware but I can not help but think that when I was trying to get rid of the Spyware/Malware issues I inadvertenly caused this problem.

Any help/advice would greatly be appreciated.

How bout it. Any body got any ideas??

 

sounds like an SSL issue maybe? have you tried running a repair on IE (if you're using IE that is)?
Or perhaps another browser as a test?

I do not know what SSL stands for. How exactly do I run a repair on Internet Explorer(wgich is what i am running)?

I assume you are referring to mozilla as an alternate route??
