E mail problem. Receiving a batch of e mails once a week

I have been corresponding with someone from Australia for years & never had a problem. Now , he only receives the e mails I send to him, about once a week, in a batch. I sent the e mails one at a time. Some were new e mails & some were direct replies to his e mails , over a 5-6 day period. I cannot find any problem at my end & have tested my correspondence with many others , without any problems.
Any suggestetions ?????

 

Do you mean "others" in Australia, and who use the same ISP as this particular friend? Has your friend does any investigation at his/her end? This may be a problem at their end, not yours.

Is your email account one provided by your ISP? You might try creating a new account with one of the popular free email services such a Google's gmail, Yahoo! Mail, or Microsoft's Live Hotmail, and see whether the same problem occurs.

 

By " others, " I just meant other people , stateside,, who I send e mails to. Those go thru just fine. His e mails from me, & the ones that are delayed a week. I get his e mails in just a few seconds,, then I reply, & he has to wait about 6 days to get them. This has just started in the last 2 weeks.
I use Live Mail . It has me thinking it could be more on " his end , " but we are unsure what to check.

 

I suggest you both contact your ISPs to discuss this.
