~e5.0001 Sims 2

    Can someone help me, I everytime im playing the sims2 nightlife while im in buy mode and try to buy certain items the as soon as drag them on the screen i it just stops and freezes, when i check the processes that were running everytime ~e5.0001 cums up and when i exit it the game exits too.

    Hi

    What Windows version and Service Pack are you using?

    Is your version of the Sims 2 fully patched up with all latest updates?

    Do you run 3rd party mods?


    That file seems to be a temp one thats created when the games running, could be part of the games copy protection, or just a temp file, so if you are ruuning say Windows Vista or 7, try running the game from its shortcut and rightclicking it and choosing Run as Administrator and see if that works,

    What Security software do you have installed? could try and disable them while playing the game to see if that helps.
