whenever I start Battlefield 2 a process called cleanup - ~e5.0001 starts. This process slows my computer down and the game, eventually it crashes the game. Any suggestions on how to get rid of this process?

The first thing you should do is Google it.
Apparently it's from Macrovision Europe Ltd, and it was probably installed when you installed BF2.
Also try here (but backup any files before screwing around with them):

It is apparently part of the copy protection and bf2 is not the only game that runs it. What you should probably do if you want the game to run better is upgrade your vid card (I didnt even think that yours is on the list for bf2 since it doestnt have 128 mb) and get another .5 or 1.5 gigs of ram (bf2 loves 2 gigs)

    Hope it help
