I am considering the E8400 CPU after all, but the 680i requires a Bios flash in order to use the new Wolfdale processors.

My question is, can I use that processor to boot up the new computer so that I can flash the motherboard to fully utilize the new processor?

    Did that make sense?

I should probably clarify that it will be the EVGA 680i motherboard.
