Easy Cd Creator 5 - read only files

    I have a new PC running Windows XP HE SP2. When I save files to CD-R using Easy CD Creator 5 the files are saved as read-only. With my previous pc running the same version of Windows and using Easy CD Creator 5 to save to the very same CD-R disks the files were not saved as read-only. I don’t understand why files are now saved as read-only.

    There's a setting in EZCD5 that is set to Read Only. I had the same problem a while back. I wish I could tell you exactly where this setting is, but I'm not using EZCD5 anymore... I use the excellent and FREE CDBurnerPro XP3 available for download right here from 'The Geeks'. It'll burn CD's and DVD's, data, music, rips, etc... try it, you'll like it!!!!

    Can anyone on this forum help me find the settings on Easy CD Creator 5 which allows me to burn files without them becoming read-only?
