In WinXP open the Start menu, click Control Panel, double-click Add Or Remove Programs (from the category of the same name), select Easy Media Creator on the list, and click Change/Remove. If you have tried that and getting the error, download the Roxizap file below and double-click it. Should remove all the files windows couldn't.

    Important Note Regarding RoxiZap:
If you have any other Roxio software, [i.e. GoBack] installed it will also be uninstalled as well.

Before running RoxiZap you must manually uninstall Easy CD and DVD Creator 6, Easy Media Creator 7, GoBack and/or anything else "Roxio Related" on your system. It was initially intended only to remove Roxio Easy Media Creator; however it can safely be used if other Roxio products have been removed from the system.

    Try this link:
Uninstall Easy CD and DVD Creator 6 using RoxiZap to know a little more about the steps involved in the removal process using

    Good Luck!

Oh, anytime! :) My pleasure, really. That RoxiZap is really handy and does the job totally removing Roxio Easy Media - you just got to be cautious is all.

I never liked Roxio products much – too buggy for me. Many shareware product developers actually try very hard to leave something in your system that doesn't belong there; for instance so that you cannot simply uninstall after the trial period and then reinstall their programs again...

Thanks for your response, Steve. : )
