ok under my ecs 915p-a bios there is an option under the advanced tab. it says apature size and allows 128 or 256 to be set. do you think this would be for my pci-e video card.

One rule to set aperature size is 25% of system memory(RAM).

Funny how you learn these little rules and formulas eh? *Cough*ACE256*Cough* ;)

Yes you could switch to 256 if you wanted and yes it's to do with your graphics card, I'm not entirely sure if the effect will be noticable, but what the heck, it still a bigger number :D

splitt3r You are now the victim of a drive by title change

I just went in my bios to change that but I don't have that option, mines an ASUS, I found out my video adaptor was set to pci, my card is pci-e so ic hanged that, i dunno if it made any difference.

Yeh, mine is currently only at 128 as I only have 512Mb of ram :( (2x 256mb sticks) I'm thinking of ditching my current memory and getting 2x 512's :D
