    seems there was a post on how to remove edge completely......anyone recall how to do it?

    Funny you mention that. I had a driver issue with a MayFlash, and while I was uninstalling a couple other things, it was in the Programs list. Didn't try to remove it, but perhaps...

    I tried in GOD mode and only option was change or repair.

    Read the article to see how to remove the icon from the taskbar and change Edge from being the default browser.

    Things might change in the future. Since the EU has a lawsuit, Edge won't have a browser monopoly there.
