    Hi,

    If anyone could help...............awesome!

I'm trying to have people "edit" a web page right through their Internet Explorer browser.

I have had it working for me for weeks now but today it's opening up in "Read Only" view. So, I can't edit it.

I have a UNIX server. I do everything in FrontPage. I created an Excel document and "Saved As" a web page so now it's a web document. I put in onto server through FrontPage.

I open it up in Internet Explorer and when I do a "File, Edit in Microsoft Excel" it usually prompts me for a username and password to get into the server (I give it my FP one). Then, it opens up Excel. I make changes and Save it. Boom.....done deal.

All of a sudden...it's opening up in Read Only.

And, it's doing this to a handful of other people too. The person who sits next to me can still edit it no problem.

    Any ideas???

have you noticed anything odd when you save.. i.e. the changes not being saved?
