Effects from the My Doom Virus Need Help!

My computer was infected with the my doom virus. Now all my pictures I have put on my computer from my digital camera are distorted and I don't know how to fix this. I cannot reload the pics since I have deleted them from my camera.
Also, I cannot attach any of the pics to emails
Is there a way to restore these pics?

Reading through the pages there doesn't appear to any reason why this virus would affect the visualisation of pictures. What tool are you using to view your pictures? What are the specs for your machine (Win XP?, video display card, etc)? - use Start/Settings/Control Panel/System.
