Emachine T5026 Causes Browsers to Crash

    I have this T5026 emachine ... it's OS is xp home ... it has been through a clean install yet it continues to cause IE 6 and FireFox 3.6 browser to crash ... could it be the emachine software for a fresh install that could be causing some kind of conflict? I mean a format and clean install should clear any problem. What do you think?:confused

    Sorry guys and gals ... I made a mistake ... the hard drive was never formatted ... so that is what I am going to do ... thanks ... :-D
