I am looking to upgrade my memory of my emachines (model t3025) from 512 to a stick of 1gb (or both in if i can) but my question is, can my mobo support the hi-density ram or not? it's soo much cheaper but i hear that there's few boards it works in. everything in the comp is stock and if ya need any more info, just let me know and i'll get it asap

    thanx in advanced

well i did a quick seaarch on your computer and didnt find anything on it, try looking up your mother board. See what i herd about high density ram is that its not as good thats why its cheaper. i found this ddr sdm pc2700 1gb stick on newegg that looks promising. since you only got 2 slots for ram 1gb should be your choice

Any PC2700 DDR333 nonECC DIMM RAM should work with this machine.
You do have two slots with a 2GB maxium.
This means that you can indeed have both a 1GB and a 512MB DIMM in this machine.

Your system is designed for accepting DDR (Double Data Rate) modules with 184pins (DIMM).
For your system to fully recognise 1GB capacity per memory slot, you need to use Low Density modules.
If you use 1GB High-Density modules, your PC may only recognise them as HALF the size at 512MB (if it will even recognise them at all).
High-Density RAM is mainly designed for use in slower servers, not PCs.
