Emachines T3065 With Win7

emachines T035 won't start. Only large E symbol is displayed on screen now for 10 minutes?

    Unit has been off 2-3 months. Turned it on and it doesn't do anything. Monitor just shows the large E symbol for Emachines.... any ideas what is wrong?
    Is my operating system corrupted? It worked fine last time it was on....

    First, remove the poll. It serves no purpose here. Check all your power connections. Make sure fans spin freely.

    This computer came with XP so I'm guessing it is at least 8 years old. (I own an eMachine purchased in 2009 that came with XP).

    Was the computer unplugged or plugged in for the 2 - 3 months it was off?

    It might be the System battery that has gone flat.
    To change it you would have to check out the manual. Page 166

    If you keep F1 pressed down when you boot up do you get the BIOS screen?
