Email Address Invalid?

    I am again getting error msgs when logging on some web sites.that my name and or email addy is/are incorrect.
    I have had the same name since birth (a few decades ago) and the same email addy for several years. I proof read the info and punctuation; they are correct.
    WTF is going on here?

    Most times a username or email addy in its place, will suffice (as long as its the one you signed up with)

    Is this happening with all sites, or just a select few?
    Does it also occur using different browsers?

    Please post a link to one site with the problem.
    Obviously you logged in at MajorGeeks with no problem.

    My username at most sites is plodr; that is not my actual name. So if you are tying in your birth certificate name, I can see where that would not work.

    This happens a lot on sites that handle payments like verizon or paypal. Are these the kind of sites you're having issues with? My dad has to reset his password every month to pay our AT&T bills.
