I would like to know how to remove <> from each line in an email. There is text between the brackets that I wish to keep.

Do you have word installed? word offers find and replace feature, you can find < then replace with nothing, then do the same with >.

OK - Yes I could do that, but is there no other way when you are forwarding an email that one can do this without using another program to make those changes?

What is your email client? If Outlook, you can specify Word as your editor, then use Ctrl+H to replace any/all instances of the characters you want removed.

With Microsoft Outlook Express, you can change that by going to Tools > Options > Send tab > Mail Sending Format

If you are using Plain Text format, goto Plain Text Settings and UnCheck Indent the original text with...

If you are using HTML format, goto HTML Settings and Check Indent message on reply and you will see a
solid vertical bar marking the quote which is much neater than those angle brackets.
