Email Only

    Well.....
    I am not sure if I am putting this post in the right area, so if I am not....Let me know and I will move it!

    I am looking for a place to buy a computer that only allows you to email.

    My father lives in Florida and I have seen his (which is no longer working) that is why I am search of another.

    I don't know what to seach for cause I have never used 1 of those before.
    You guys here at Major Geeks have never let me down before, always helpful so that is why I came here!

    And ideas would be GREAT!!!!

    Hi Staci

    Not come across any PCs that just allow emails only, do you have a name of the old now non-working PC, maybe we could check into suppliers for you?

    Only snippet of info I found in searches was that back in 2005 KMart sold such a device, cannot find it on their website now tho.

    you could buy a cheap PC as it doesnt need to be really powerful just to email and add all necassary security apps to it and just install bare basic software, plus just have a link to an email application on the desktop only for your father to use.
