Hey... Having problems... When I open up IE and go to www.hotmail.com and log in. Seconds later the IE window goes blank and says Done on the bottom. Was wondering if it was a security setting thats doing this or what?
I am running Windows XP Professional SP2 on High speed DSL.

A quick way to check this would be to add hotmail.com to your trusted sites. Internet options, security tab.

Try going to http://www.msn.com/ and click on the hotmail link, sign in, see if it will take you to your inbox.

Is it just your Hotmail account giving you problems? All other pages and sites open OK. Steve

OK. Let's go back to what the Major suggested:

Configure Security settings for the Trusted sites zone in Internet Explorer: IE, Tools, Internet Options, Security tab, select Trusted sites, Default Level. Sites, enter the address (URL) of the site in the Add this Web site to the zone: box, Add, OK, Apply.

See if this allows you to use the Site's button.

    Levithian_666,

    Look here, http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=870700

Go thru a few, or all of these troubleshooting methods for SP2. Something has changed your ability to configure certain settings, maybe the new Service Pack.

    Let us know.
