I was in hotmail, and I emailed someone. Instead of putting the message in my sent folder(so my wife could read it later) I cc'd it to my isp email address.

When I opened outlook to check my isp email, it was there, but it had gained an attachment. I haven't touched it. What could that be?

    It's called ATT00027.eml, and it's 1.16kb

    Thanks

A .eml file is an email message file, so I suspect your original message has been 'attached' to the email you CCed to yourself (if that makes any sense). I've noticed a similar thing sometimes when I receive forwards of forwards (etc, etc.) of messages from someone. I think it might be an ISP thing.
