Right, I'm not computer literate and dont always understand terms used. I have just installed Firefox and want to put a short cut in the toolbox area, (is that the right word? i know the taskbar is at the bottom of the page)on my home page so I can go straight to my inbox. If its any help my provider is Plusnet on Windows Vista. Is that all you need to know?

Hi and Welcome

Terms in computing are at times a pain as different folk use differening ones, even computer techs have different words for same areas in computing etc etc

But yeah your not far off if I think Toolbox is Toolbar and the Bookmarks Toolbar to be exact, if thats the area then all you need to do is to in the Bookmarks Library is to drag and drop the bookmark to the toolbar.

you can if your on the webpage already drag and drop the icon from the far left side of the Address bar to the Bookmarks toolbar also.

You can also add bookmarks to the Bookmarks Toolbar via the menu on Firefox but the drag and drop method is a little easier. If you'd like to know the menu method, let me know and I'll post details on that.
