For better and for worse, I currently have four...ooops, no, FIVE actually (5) email addresses that I utilize.

I have managed to get three of them to display in Thunderbird, however the Yahoo account still won't show-up (work) there.

Question: Does anyone know if I can get other email programs to display in Yahoo? In other words, will Yahoo Mail display my Gmail and Hotmail accounts?

I am trying very hard to downsize and simplify, and I would LOVE to be able to check everything (check all of my email) in/at one place.

    Thanks in advance,
    glenn...

    Hi

Yahoo doesn't support POP email access unless you get their Mail Plus package, which costs money.

You can, however, setup Yahoo to forward all email to another account.

Thank you - you mean I can have my hotmail and gmail sent to my (standard/free) Yahoo! (mail) account, please?

I've got an ISP who is associated with Yahoo. Got my 3 webmail accounts set up to copy all mail to IE6 although I don't use it very much except for important mails that I want to keep on my machine. Of course deleting webmail prior to accessing IE6 will not copy to IE6. Don't use Thunderbird as I find that webmail and IE6 is plenty for me.

I forgot to ask... are you planning on keeping and using ALL of your email accounts? Or are you planning on discontinuing use of some of them, or what?

Honestly there's a lot of different options when it comes to email, and different options with different services.

Personally, I opted to migrate completely to Gmail, as I like the conversation-style, search functionality, and VERY little spam with Gmail. (I use web interface, not a mail client, to access it... I access my work email through Outlook, though.)

I imported my mail and contacts from my other email accounts, and stopped using them. You can do this by going to Gmail->gear icon->Mail Settings->Accounts and Import->Import Mail and Contacts. Just provide Gmail with the email address and password of the account(s) you wish to import from, and it will all be added into your Gmail account. It also leaves everything as it was in the old accounts, in case you decide to change your mind later.

Thanks - As much as I would LOVE to go to one, maybe two total, I think I'll have to keep them all...but would just really refer to be able to find them all in one place...

    Thanks again...
