How can I send someone a *.exe file? Email apps delete them as spam.

Have ou tried zipping it up and send it as a zip file??

Most anti-virus scanners will delete files with an .exe extension because that is how alot of viruses/malware come in!!!!

Zipping it up will wrap it up into a smaller file and put the .zip extension on it!! So not only will it allow it to e-mail, but it will make it a smaller file, which will make it transfer faster!!!!

Do you know how to zip a file?? If not...what version of windows do you have??

Win Rar and Win Zip are your best bets :)

XP home comes with it built in!!

Just right click on the file you want to zip, and then go down to "send to", then select "compressed folder"...and it should be relatively self explanitory from there!!!

also, some email servers will only take attachments if you have a word like "allow" in the subject line. the person you are sending it to should get a message telling them that an email was blocked and why...should have some instructions.

This wont always help - Gmail scans attachements even within compressed files and wont let you send or receive zipped exe files. You can try renaming the extension to .bak or something like that and then zipping it twice.
