Empire earth problem

the game works fine.
even with all graphics and sound enhancement turned on.

yet when I try to select multipul buildsing/units
Try to make units go to multipul areas,
try to make civilians build multipul buildings
by holding the shift button.

It messes up.
as in the mouse acts all weird, I cant do the multipul things and the mouse gets super slow, and wont confirm clicks *the rest of the game works fine when this is happening though*

I unpluged my mouse and hooked it up via usb instead of the ps/2 dongle that came with it.
and its more precise and accurate now, but it still has the same problems.

have you tried updating your mouse drivers?

 

just wondering if your using a logitech mouse as there are known issues with them and this game the reccommended action is to uninstall logitech drivers and use standard windows ones although if you use any special mouse features they wont be available anymore
or like kodo says maybe the latest drivers will fix this or maybe updating the game if i remember you can do this from the start menu select empire earth then the update option

good game this must dig mine out and have and a go aint played it for ages

 

in my opinion, if you have drivers that come with a mouse, keyboard, or other simple input device, do not install the drivers, because they are usually annoying or mess up something. If it is like a really nice keyboard with a bunch of hotkeys, I would install the drivers for something like that, though.

empire earth is a good game. It's one of the few I have.
