Empty Recycle Bin Is Grayed Out In Windows 7

    Hello I had this problem recently, when I right click the recycle bin icon to empty the bin the "Empty recycle bin" is is grayed out. I tried may ways as far as I know it does not help to solve this problem. My OS. Windows 7 ultimate. Ido hope you can help me. Thanks.

    Open an elevated Command Prompt and type the following:

    rd /s /q C:\$Recycle.bin

    Press Enter.

    Restart the computer.

    Thanks Eldon but I got error "the system cannot find the file specified". What to do.
