enable script ?

hi,

i have just downloaded silentrunners and come across an error (of sorts),
when i try to run the script i get the message that 'windows script host access is disabled on this machine',
so i went for a search round the net and found a tool from symantec that would re-enable script to be run,
when i ran the tool it says that script is enabled and would i like to turn it off,

this has me confused,

i have also found out that if my script is disabled then i can't get windows updates and i can't get windows updates - so it seems the symantec tool is lying,

is there a setting on my pc to change this, so i can have script enabled ?

all my scans are clean (including hjt)

problem solved,

changed the windows script host enable registry key from 0 (zero) to 1
