    Hi,

I have been to these boards to read before but this is my first time posting.

I have been having problems viewing web pages that I normally visit. A few weeks ago I changed my internet access form MSN to Bellsouth Fastaccess DSL After the install of the software the web pages started displaying boxes with red x's instead of the pictures. When I click on view then encoding the auto select is checked and the western european (ISO). I can change it to western european (windows) but it jumps back when I go to another page.

Here is my info. Thanks for taking the time to read my post.

Not sure the encoding decides whether the images becomes Red X.
The encoding is usually decided by the web page you are visiting. Like google.dk is using "Western European (ISO)" and a rstechnica.com is using "Western European (Windows)" and my own homepage is using "Unicode (UTF-8)" . Also right now I have "Auto-Select" encoding unchecked.
